Information System Framework for Training Teachers on Computational Thinking

The call for a holistic integration of computational thinking (CT) skills across all subjects in the newly revised Malaysian curriculum 2017 has brought to attention an urgent need prepare teachers with new syllabus, teaching and learning (TL) tools, techniques, promote effective knowledge dissemination their daily classroom practices. However, preliminary investigation revealed that many were still unaware changes within curriculum. There was apparent lack understanding general. study intends propose conceptual framework develop about among teachers, enhance pedagogical repertoire include elements into content. employs mixed-method research capture data construct interventions. Information Systems Design Theory (ISDT) is used design information system (IS) set plan developing framework.The proposed comprises five elements, which could serve as guide future planning setting up CT training other related professional development programmes.
